How does the base fit?
Typically, the case is a five-sided acrylic cube, open at the bottom. The case fits on the base, which is grooved to match the case. This prevents the case from simply sliding off.
We can also custom make the case to any style you want, just ask us!
How long does it take?
It typically takes 1-3 weeks for the case to be custom built. Shipping time varies from 1-6 days. Cases with wood bases, especially finished hardwood, can add a few days
Rush orders are available at extra cost if requested.
If you have a specific deadline, such as a trade show, presentation, birthday gift, etc, let us know so it arrives in time.
Can I get a case made like another case I've seen or something different?
Yes! We specialize in custom display cases, and can make them to any shape, size or style.
If you have something in mind, feel free to call us or e-mail us a description. Photos or drawings are helpful, and can be faxed or e-mailed to us.
What wood finishes are available?
Our 'Simple Wood Base' is typically sanded pine, and looks attractive.
Typically our 'Deluxe Wood Base' is made out of oak with a red oak stain and gloss clear coat.
We can use any stain or finishing style that you prefer, please let us know what you are looking for.
Other woods can be used, too, including walnut, cherry, or any other species of tree. This will incur additional cost and time. Again, let us know what you are looking for and we'll help you out.
If you would like us to match a certain finish, please mail us a sample, or take a photograph of what you are trying to match.
Can I get a bulk order discount?
Yes, please contact us for bulk order discounts
How are these shipped?
The display cases are securely packaged to withstand shipping. Larger cases are shipped in wood crates. Most cases are shipped via FedEx Ground. Very large cases require freight shipping. In the even of shipping damage to your case, please save the shipping box and all packaging material and call us quickly.
What's the difference between acrylic and glass?
Acrylic is about half the weight and 10 times the impact strength. This allows for safer use of your case. Acrylic is slightly more prone to scratching than glass.
